The Kramer
VP-211NDS is a high performance 2x1 automatic switcher for VGA through UXGA and stereo audio signals.
It detects the presence of a VGA-type signal and automatically switches to the active input. If signals are present on both inputs input number one is selected. Audio is always switched together with the corresponding VGA input. The machine has a looping XGA input with a loop termination switch ID bit control and contact closure remote control for forced operation.
The machine uses active switching and has very selective sync detection and reconstruction circuitry. The DS (Default Select) version allows the user to select which input is the default input by using tiny switches accessible from the underside of the machine.
Video bandwidth exceeding 300MHz ensures that the remains transparent even when operating at the highest resolutions. A 12V power supply is included but the optional VA-50P can power up to six Kramer devices requiring 12VDC.
