Printing on the disc surface becomes more and more important in todays office
environment. Because of low printing costs and high reliability inkJet technology is still the
most common way to print on optical media .
Direct-to-disc inkjet printing is by far the most popular full-color method of labeling CDs and
DVDs. It's easy to see why. Inkjet offers the brightest colors, sharpest text, highest print
resolutions, the lowest cost per-disc and the most photo-realistic images possible. But now,
inkjet CD and DVD printing is about to get even better.
Now you have the possibility to make your Inkjet Printed CDs and DVDs Glossy, highly
Water and Scratch-Resistant. These stunning results can easily compete with the silkscreen
printed discs.
With the ADR Rollcoater you can handle all kinds of CD/DVD Media, no matter which brand
you prefer to use.
About the Machine
With its patented coating mechanism the ADR Rollcoater covers the CD/DVD with a special
UV-Laquer. Then it dries under a specially designed UV-Lamp to get the best result and
achieve the special glossy look.
As for production facilities not only the high quality standard is important, we also took care
to lower the costs for this process. With costs of less than one cent per disc this solution is
the best and most cost effective in the market.
