Many people send their out-of-warranty machine back to the manufacturer for fixing. Most manufacturers will either charge you an excessive sum for to repair the unit or tell you that a repair is not cost effective and your only option is to purchase a new unit. We charge a £75 evaluation fee in advance of receipt of your unit. This covers the cost of diagnosis and fault finding. If you choose to go ahead with your repair this £75 is included in the cost of the repair. If we manage to repair the fault during diagnosis, or if you choose not to go ahead with the repair, all you will pay is £75 plus vat.

Parts and labour will usually come with a warranty.

The print head bangs over to the left and has a mind of its own, it picks up but dumps cd\'s anywhere, I think it is the guide tape markings wornout or similar, please give me some idea of costs to repair, thank you.Hi Ken, By the sounds of it there might be a problem with tape-guide or one of the optical sensors on the print head carriage. The cost for the out of warranty repairs is £60.00 (plus VAT) per hour of labour and the cost of parts. Please note that there is an evaluation fee of £50 + VAT to diagnose the fault. You will then be sent a quote for the cost of repair.
