If I choose a hard disc option for this does it take up one of the writing bays or the source as it says this has 3 readers and 1 source? If the latter can the hard disc be loaded from one of the readers?Hi Steve, Hard drive does not take up writing bays, so you will still have 1 reader and 3 burners. The only way to load the hard drive with the data is by placing the disc in the reader (top drawer). There is no option to load the hard drive through the computer. Kind Regards Tom

The question I have is this. Can I make Data CDs from the computer and write to more than one drive. Enabling me to make 2 or 3 copies of the Data DVDs or CDs?Hi - the device does not have a PC connection. You need to create your disc on a PC, burn the disc, and then use this disc as the master and copy from it (being the source) to your blanks, (being the targets). Thanks.

Could you please give me some indication of how long it would take to copy 3 DVDs with approx 4.0 GBs of video material on the mastercopy? Would that figure be the sam with the Stordigital 5 copy duplicator?Hi Jeremy, All our machines are capable of burning at 16x speed. As long as you use 16x blank DVD\'s, the burn process will take approximatly 6-7 minutes. With 8x DVD discs the burning process will be closer to 10-12 minutes. The speed is the same across our range of duplicators. All units also burn discs simultaneously (ie, our Stordigital 5 DVD duplicator will take 6-7 minutes to produce 5 copies of your disc etc) Hope this helps, Kind Regards David, CD-writer.com
